Hamilton PAL Girl's Basketball 2024 - 2025

Divisions will be determined by how many girls are signed up for the overall league, the number of coaches we have and the skill level of each player.  The grade your daughter is currently in will only be one of several factors in determining which division each girl plays in and can change during the year.  Every participant is guaranteed to be on at least one team.

The program begins on Oct 3rd / 4th with clinics.  Fundamental practices for ALL will begin on Monday, Oct 14th and run through November 22nd.  Group practices will be run on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at local elementary and middle schools, and you can attend as many or as few sessions as desired.  These weeks will be spent working on dribbling, passing, shooting, boxing out and learning to play defense.  The practices will be run by the various coaches in the league.  On Thursdays / Fridays starting Oct 3 / 4th we will be offering clinics run by former college, high school and PAL players, along with various high school coaches in the area.  In this stage again, your child can attend as many nights as possible (that fit your schedule).

A draft of players by the PAL coaches and staff will be held during the week of Thanksgiving with team practices beginning the week of December 2nd and running through Wednesday, Dec 18th.  Team practices will be conducted by your daughter's coach on a specific night each week.

Games will begin on Friday, January 3rd for all divisions and run until March 8th. There will be no league games played at Reynolds on Saturday’s this year.  If we need to schedule games or makeup games, we may need to use Thursday nights at Reynolds.

There will be a Friday night division that plays half court at an 8 ft basket for those in K-3 who have trouble reaching the 10 ft basket.

The registration cost for the entire year from September to March is $125 and includes the cost of the reversible jersey, use of the gyms and referees for the games.

We use reversible jerseys so that your daughter can play on different teams and levels as the season progresses.

If you are unsure if your daughter will like playing basketball and has never played in Hamilton PAL before, we offer an introduction registration, which will allow your daughter to participate in the first segment that runs from Oct 3rd through November 18th for $50 and includes the group practices and clinics.  This option does not include ANY games that start in January.  You will have to pay the remaining $75 before moving on to team play.

All Players and Parents are required to sign a Code of Conduct Form.
