HAMILTON P.A.L. GIRLS BASKETBALL

REGISTRATION FOR THE 2023-24 GIRLS BASKETBALL SEASON IS CLOSED. 

Program Offerings:

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (grades 1-5)

The two lower divisions (1st to 3rd grade called 3on3) and (4th and 5th grade called 4on4), work together to build a foundation of fundamentals while teaching the game of basketball through practices, clinics and games.  

The program begins on Sept 21st with clinics and fundamental practices for ALL running through November 17th, with an emphasis on foundation fundamentals.  Group practices will be run  on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at local elementary schools and you can attend as many or as little as desired.  These weeks will be working on dribbling, passing, shooting, boxing out and learning to play defense.  The practices will be run by the various coaches in the league.  On Thursdays starting Sept 21 and on Fridays starting on Oct 20th we will be offering clinics run by former college, high school and PAL players, along with various high school coaches in the area.  In this stage again, your daughter can attend as many nights that fit your schedule.

A draft of players by the PAL coaches and staff will be held during that week and team practices will begin the week of  November 20th and run through Dec 16th.  Team practices will be conducted by your daughter's coach on a specific night each week.  Joint fundamental clinics will continue to be offered through the season for those who want to attend in addition to team practices. 

Games will begin on Friday night January 5th for 3on3 division at Crockett and run until March 8th.  The 4on4 division will begin with games on Saturday morning/early afternoon at Reynolds on January 6th and run through March 9th.

The 3on3 division plays half court games with a lower basket on Friday nights and the 4on4 division plays full court games on Saturdays.

The registration cost for the entire year from September to March is $110 and includes the cost of the jersey, use of the gyms and referees for the games.

In addition to that, if you are unsure if your daughter will like playing basketball we offer an introduction registration, which will allow your daughter to participate in the first segment that runs from Sep 21st through November 17th for $40 and includes the group practices and clinics.  This does not include ANY games that start in January.

If you want to continue, you can then register during the first two weeks of November for the rest of the season, which will be the remaining $70.  Only those who have participated in the first segment can sign up during these two weeks.

MIDDLE SCHOOL (grades 6-8)

This will be a 10-11 week season. Tryouts will be October 2nd and the 16th. Team meet-ups will begin early November with Opening day being in Early December. Registration Open : Sept 6th
